Small businesses are the "engine room" of the UK economy, comprising 99.8% of all companies and they deserve expert services that is delivered with passion, empathy, having regard to the specific needs of individual owners. We (the partners) looked for a model that addressed specific needs of small business owners and a delivery process that meant owners could access mature professionals from all disciplines, at affordable rates that included a packaged approach. Furthermore, with emphasis on problem solving, implementation, value added, fostering long term relationships and empathy. Our CEO is an accredited associate of the Institute of Independent Business. PARTNERS David Davis - CEO David brings over twenty years professional experience in helping companies deliver their strategies. David has led many interim management roles over the past seven years, including company startups, acquisitions and mergers, IT implementation, business process re-engineering (BPR), corporate recovery and managing finance and IT functions of major companies. He has worked in a variety of industries including, management consultancy, telecommunications, technology, Internet, retail, financial services (investment banking and pensions), property, travel, hotel and leisure, media (television and radio broadcasting), charity, central and local government. Prior to starting Small Business Resource Ltd, he was Finance Director to Bluewave Ltd (subsidiary of Maersk Data Group), Direct Communications International Ltd (technology, IT and facilities management), London Borough of Hounslow (local authority), UK Sports Council (Central Government) and Queen Elizabeth II Conference and Banqueting Centre (Agency reporting to Government). David has managed major projects for Shell Plc, Tyco Fire And Security, Unova Coropration, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, Alpha Credit Bank, Bank of China, William Mercer Ltd and Bass Plc. David started his career in the BBC, as a management accountant. He spent eight years with the BBC. In 1987 he joined C&A Retail Group, where he was accountant to 14 companies in the group. In 1995, he left to focus on interim management assignments. David is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant. James wright - Associate James brings over twenty years professional experience as accountant in practice. He started his own financial services practice in 1992 focusing on private and small to medium enterprises. His practice provides full range accounting and taxation services. In 1999 James fulfilled a long standing ambition of successfully completing an MBA course as the prelude to embarking on teaching career. He lectures in finance and business at Croydon University. James is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant. He received an MBA from Durham Business School, BA in business and he is a member of the Association of International Accountants. Asare Amaning - Associate Asare brings over eighteen years professional experience as accountant working in commerce and public sector. He runs is own IT training company. Asare is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant. He has an Msc (Masters) in Strategic Financial Management, from Kingston Business School, he received a BA in Business from University of Dublin.
