To start the process, we take your instructions by phone, e-mail or our service request form you’ve completed.

Having taken your details (per our service request form), we either instruct our mobile service of data backup and recovery staff to attend your offices or ask you to carefully extract hard drive, tape, etc from hardware device and ship it to our offices. Great care need to be exercised when extracting the hard drive and in securing it for shipping.

Upon Receipt – The Evaluation

Upon receiving your hard disk, you will be emailed or faxed a receipt confirmation with a case number;
We begin the recovery process with a free evaluation to determine the nature of the damage and the potential for recovery. We give you a firm quote and estimated time. Should you decline the quote, there is no charge;
Time and price for recovery varies depending on the severity of damage and the resources required to completing a successful recovery. Typically, recoveries for a single hard drive take 1 to 5 days with prices starting at £350.

Recovery Results

On acceptance of our quote, the recovery technicians continue work on your hard disc to complete the recovery;
We will contact you with the recovery results. Wherever possible, a directory list of files recovered and files damaged will be provided;
If data recovery is not possible or the required files have not been recovered to your satisfaction, there is no charge.
